Nothing is more romantic than a wedding aboard one of our classic Maine windjammers, Bagheera and Wendameen. The editors at Modern Bride think so too, having featured a wedding aboard Bagheera. From the deck of our storied schooners, take in the backdrop of Maine's most beautiful sights and sounds. It's a once in a lifetime experience reminiscent of a simpler time.

Each wedding is unique and customized for that perfect fit — whether exchanging vows in full view of Portland Head Light, anchored in a quiet cove, ashore on a deserted island, or while just sailing into the sunset.

Our captains can officiate, or the bride and groom can choose their own officiant and design the ceremony. From light hors d'oeuvres to a plated meal with fine china and linens, we can accommodate all options for food and drink. Flowers, music, cake. We will work with you.

Our schooners are also available for rehearsal parties, overnight honeymoons, and transportation to an island wedding destination.

Each boat can accommodate up to 48 passengers. We can even raft both windjammers together while at anchor to create a venue for 96 guests.
