Swan's Way Catering began catering with a conscience long before it was hip to be green.

Buying local and organic produce. Recycling. Partnering with local growers and artists. It's all part of standard business practices at Swan's Way, where uncompromisig style, culinary flair and discerning customers have collaborated with Stacey Glassman to produce some of the most celebrated weddings and special events in the Midcoast and Mount Desert for 27 years.

Swan's Way began in 1980 as an innovative restaurant serving international down-home cooking to a devoted clientele. The catering business grew out of that successful start and continues to be committed to the creative use of fresh, local seafood and native organic produce grown just for us. We grow our own herbs and garnishes. Our wait staff is enthusiastic, obsessively attentive and professional. Our kitchen staff is skilled and culinarily flexible. We love the beauty, taste and texture of food and make sure that exuberance is reflected in everything we cook for you. We can also handle other aspects of your event, such as rentals, site selection, porta-johns, plus give you access to great local vendors for flowers, music and more.
